This is consistent with Gartner's 2009 Hype curve which has finally turned bullish on RFID. (Blog on RFID and hype curve here: )

The point the analysts need to be aware of is the early movers are already moving to production - healthcare, government and aersopace. The followers will be retail, and mainline supplychain.
