Today marks the first day of the Embedded Systems Conference in Boston. VDC's Embedded Software and Tools Practice will be attending today through Wednesday and already has over 20 meetings scheduled over the three day period.
Judging for the final round of Microsoft’s 2010 embeddedSPARK 2010 Summer Challenge also begins today and VDCs own Steve Balacco will be one of the judges deciding which of the three final contestants’ projects will win the $15,000 grand prize. The theme of the Summer Challenge is “media explosion” in which contestants attempt to find new and innovative ways to approach media and news through the use of Windows Embedded Standard (the Winter Challenge features Windows Embedded CE).
Kevin Dallas, GM Windows Embedded, will announce the winner during his industry address on September 21 starting at 10:30am. See you all at ESC Boston!
