VDC Research Participants Donate More than $800 to FIRST

Last fall, VDC offered engineers an opportunity to have $10 donated to FIRST, an organization intended to promote engineering and the sciences in young people, by participating in a survey on software and system development practices.  We are happy to report that we had over eighty engineers elect to have the donation be made to the non-profit in lieu of receiving a cash prize themselves – for a total of more than $800.

 
 
We look forward to offering the opportunity to donate to this organization again in the future as part of other research projects and hope that even more of you choose to donate!
